READY TO WORK TOGETHER? HERE’S WHAT IT’LL LOOK LIKE
I wrote a more in-depth article on what it’s like to work with me. I have clients who are reluctant to work with a dietitian after past experiences. That’s totally understandable. If you feel this way too, I hope this information will help you feel more at ease. Also, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Send an email through my contact form here.
It’s difficult to outline exactly what our nutrition appointments will look like because they’re 100% tailored to your own needs and goals.
During our first session, we’ll talk about your health, dieting, eating history to uncover your past experiences that impact your current behaviors. We also talk about how you see your health and wellness in the future.
Note that these sessions have a similar feel to therapy sessions. That’s because eating habits and our views toward our bodies, health, and foods are often deeply rooted and intertwined with our past experiences.
It takes time and introspection to dig in and recognize our triggers and eating habits. If you’re ready to dive in and address these topics, let’s chat. I’d love to help you uncover what’s holding you back from living your fullest life.
We can discuss important concepts and set intentions in just one appointment, but these changes take time, and I’ve found multiple appointments to be most beneficial for clients to make lasting joyful changes.
Location
All nutrition appointments are currently virtual. You can join your session from a comfortable, quiet spot.
We do have a no-driving policy, if you are driving and are unable to pull over to a safe place, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment, and charge for the full session time. This is a safety concern, and a strict policy at Nourish Nutrition Co.
Payment and Fees
Payment is due at time of service.
We require a credit card to reserve your appointment time, unless other arrangements are discussed prior to initial appointment.
Currently accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield/Regence, United Healthcare (UHC), and Select Health.
All other insurances are considered out of network. These need to be paid out of pocket, and may be reimbursable to you afterward.
Please check with your provider for coverage and fees associated with nutrition sessions. Use this Insurance Coverage Script to see what your insurance will cover.
Scheduling
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Cancellations need to be made 24+ hours prior to scheduled appointment, these won’t be subject to appointment fee.
Any appointments cancelled 24 or fewer hours early will be charged the full session amount. Insurance will not cover late cancelled appointments. This is because it’s nearly impossible to fill in the open appointment slot.
